Who is a candidate?
Not everyone is recommended for Semaglutide. This treatment is generally used to treat patients who have a BMI (Body Mass Index) over 30. And in some cases their BMI may only be over 27 but they also have at least one weight-related health condition such as type 2 diabetes, PCOS or hypertension.
What happens during the treatment?
If we determine semaglutide is the right fit for your weight loss journey, your first injection is typically administered in-office as we train you to do the injections on your own. For ongoing treatment, you will be able to pick up your prescription at a chosen pharmacy.
